Color Blind

Apparently, I have introduced the trait of color blindness into the Buxa Family line.  We found out this morning that Blake is color blind to red and green...just like my Father was.  What does is mean for him?  Not too much, other than he can't be a pilot or work in a lab.  And that he will need his Momma to dress him until he finds a nice woman to take my place at 35 or 40...

I love this picture of him...in his box briefs playing on the beach in Carmel...

Carmel

I have some more beach pictures, mostly because I can't help myself.  I love the picture from above.  Blake was taking flight...these are all from the beach in Carmel.  I absolutely love that town.  And I love these kids.

Mother's Day 2011

I woke up to a video camera in my face with little voices singing.  As one can assume, I wasn't thrilled with the camera, but the voices were like angels.  They let me sleep until 9:00 am and presented me with breakfast in bed with fresh cut roses from our own garden.  My breakfast was sliding towards gourmet - Scrambled eggs with water cress, cinnamon french toast, turkey bacon, black berries, orange slices and coffee.  For real.  They had also all written me little notes.  All of it was so perfect and special.  And though I complained about the video camera that taped me, Gary assured me that some day I would be glad.  I suspect he might be right this time.

Life on the Beach

I have a few more beach pictures from Capitola last weekend...maybe more than a few.  It was a photographer's heaven with three little angels on a perfect beach.

Capitola

We spent a long weekend in Capitola staying in a beach house over Spring break.  We had perfect weather and so much fun playing in the sand.  I probably have enough photos to clog up this blog for a month, but here are a few of my favorites so far.  I might be editing for a while.
