I know this looks like my beautiful boy, Blakey, but recently he has become known as Arabella's Dog, Ruffy Massin. Arabella leads him around the house on a leash, feeds him from a bowl and has him fetch various toys. He does it quite willingly and with great enthusiasm. It's pretty funny to watch them in action.

"Gozer the Gozerian, Gozer the Destructor...the Traveler has Come"...anyone who grew up in the 80's should know what I am talking about when I say Gozer. She was the character that became the Stay Puff Marshmellow Man on Ghostbusters who came to destroy the city. When Arabella was about 8 months old and had just started crawling the first thought that came into my head was "the traveler has come..." One afternoon, she climbed up on to the couch and grabbed some seeded decorative balls from high up on a table and shoved them in her mouth...we realized that nothing was off limits for her. She was our little destructor - out to play with and/or destroy anything she could get her little hands on. Gozer went from being a noun in our house to being a verb. Something like, "Gary, get home! Arabella is gozering up the place and I can't get anything done." Soon we had another Gozerian in the form of a little boy who gleefully joined his sister in the destuction of our once neat and tidy house. Our final Gozerian has joined the pack as of yesterday as she is now crawling. It is so fun to watch this milestone. So now, if you get one of us on the phone and we say we have to go because our house is being "gozed", you will know one or all of our little angels are up to something.

This little girl is becoming quite the hand full. She is not crawling forward yet, but scoots backwards all the way around the room. She is a little doodlebug. She is starting to rock on all fours so we are expecting forward movement in the next couple of weeks. I am a bit concerned as she is all together too curious. Baby proofing a house full of polly pockets should prove interesting. There is some serious mischief peeking out from behind those big blue eyes.
